Do you buy license plates as well as sell them?

Absolutely. We are not only license plate dealers, we are also serious collectors who have been involved in the license plate hobby for over 30 years. We actively buy small / medium / large accumulations and collections of license plates and related items.

Are your plates guaranteed?

Absolutely! Everything we sell is fully guaranteed. If for any reason you’re not happy with your purchase (including damage in transit), simply return the license plate to us within 30 days and we’ll give you a full refund including postage. We aren’t happy unless you are. We make every effort possible to accurately describe the license plates on our website.

What form of payment do you accept?

You can pay with any major credit card or Paypal balance by using the shopping cart. If you want to pay with a personal check or money order, please follow these instructions. Please make sure all payments include a description of your purchase so as not to delay your shipment.

Do you sell license plates on eBay?

We have been selling license plates under the oakalla userid on eBay since 1998. We have amassed over 10,000 positive feedbacks with a 100% satisfaction rating.

Do you combine shipping with eBay auction wins?

We are happy to combine shipping of purchases from the easyPL8S.com website with eBay wins. Many customers combine website purchases with eBay wins to save on shipping costs. We will refund any excess shipping costs calculated by the shopping cart when purchases are combined with eBay wins.

What shipping services do you use?

We use the USPS within the United States and for overseas shipping. For Canadian customers, we use Canada Post.

How often do you ship?

We ship once per week by USPS, usually on Wednesday or Thursday. For Canadian customers, we ship as soon as we receive your payment.

I live overseas. How does this affect the cost of shipping?

The online shopping cart calculates shipping for destinations within the USA and Canada only; we will calculate international shipping charges. Generally, the cost of shipping to overseas destinations will be approximately double that shown in the shopping cart. We charge only the actual cost of shipping overseas, there is no handling fee added.

Will I receive the actual license plate in the picture or do you substitute plates?

The plate you see on the website is the plate you will receive. We do not substitute plates unless the customer requests a different plate.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes we do! Purchasers of over $100 on EasyPL8S.com will receive a coupon good for a 15% discount on their next purchase.

Entering a valid coupon number (e.g. ABC-123) in the appropriate place on the home page will automatically adjust the prices of all the license plates on the website. The coupon number must be entered for the discount to be applied. These discounts will be reflected in your online shopping cart.

Do you have more plates than are listed on your site?

We have tens of thousands of plates available, and if you have a special request, please email us at dave@easyPL8S.com with your requirements.

I’ve been burned before with plates that look better in the pictures than in reality.

We strive to post images that accurately reflect the quality of our plates. Since, the image sizes are relatively small, the plates often look better in person than in the pictures. For example, newer plates generally have very nice color and gloss which is often not accurately reflected in the image. Any defects that are not apparent in the images are clearly noted.

I often see plates with incorrect stickers attached. Do your plates have the proper stickers?

Yes. Unless the plate is unissued or was originally used without stickers, all license plates are affixed with the correct, original stickers.

Do you sell reproductions of real license plates?

No. EasyPL8S.com offers a large selection of genuine license plates. All of our plates are the real McCoy. In some cases, we have listed booster or souvenir type license plates if we think they might be of interest to collectors of genuine license plates. These plates are clearly labeled as such in all cases.

Are any of your license plates repainted or touched-up?

No, except as noted in exceptional instances. We strive to maintain high standards in all facets of our business, including the quality of our license plates. In rare instances, where scarcer plates are involved, a particular plate may be repainted or touched-up. However, this will be always clearly stated in the description.

Can I register your plates for use on my car?

Not unless the plates are approved for use under your state’s Year of Manufacture program. Otherwise, our plates are for use as souvenirs, decorating, or collecting.
